Naked Canvas® is a private, reservation-only, artist-led creative workshop centered on fine-art body painting in a controlled studio environment. We prioritize consent, privacy, and safety so everyone can create with confidence.

By using our website, purchasing a reservation, communicating with us, or attending a workshop, you agree to this Privacy Policy and these Terms of Service.

Privacy Policy

1) Who We Are

Naked Canvas is operated by a legally established business entity producing live, in-person creative workshops. Our standards are designed to protect consent, privacy, safety, and the integrity of the studio environment.

2) What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you:

  • Visit our website

  • Purchase or manage a reservation

  • Check in and attend a workshop

  • Communicate with us (email, SMS, support, social)

Third-party providers (including ticketing and payment processors) may also collect and process information under their own policies.

3) Information We Collect

We collect information reasonably necessary to operate a professional workshop experience.

A) Reservation & Contact
Name, email, phone number, reservation details, required acknowledgments/consents, and payment confirmation/transaction metadata. If applicable, this may also include billing address and other information you provide during checkout. Secure providers process payments; we do not store full card numbers.

B) Check-In & Workshop Operations
Check-in status, eligibility confirmation status (for example, confirming you are 21+), wristband number assignment, attendance records, and operational notes needed to manage entry and studio flow. If an incident occurs, we may create an incident report and related internal documentation.

C) Eligibility Verification (Internal; Where Lawful)
Because the workshop is private and consent-driven, we conduct internal eligibility verification. This may include:

  • Internal records (for example, prior removals/incidents and active bans)

  • Publicly available information

  • Third-party tools/APIs used to process safety-related record information

Where permitted by law, this may include searches that reference sex offender registries and other safety-relevant public record sources. Outcomes are used for entry eligibility and safety decisioning only. We never request sensitive information such as a Social Security number.

Compliance note: If any portion of this process is legally considered a “consumer report,” we will provide any required notices and rights under applicable law.

D) Website Technical & Usage
IP address, device/browser information, approximate location derived from IP, pages visited, and analytics events.

E) Communications & Voluntary Submissions
Messages you send us (support requests, emails, DMs), feedback, and content you voluntarily submit.

4) How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Process reservations, payments, and check-ins

  • Confirm eligibility for entry and facilitate participation

  • Send essential communications (confirmations, updates, reminders, policy notices)

  • Maintain a safe, respectful studio environment and enforce standards

  • Prevent, document, and respond to incidents

  • Maintain and enforce bans/removals when necessary

  • Improve operations through analytics and feedback

  • Send marketing communications where permitted (with opt-out available)

5) How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may share limited information with:

  • Service providers supporting operations (ticketing/payment, email/SMS, hosting, analytics, security vendors), only as needed to perform services for us

  • Authorized internal personnel (staff, compliance, and security) on a need-to-know basis for entry operations and safety

  • Legal/safety recipients when required by law or necessary to protect guests, models, staff, venues, or the public

We do not share personal information with third parties for unsolicited marketing.

6) Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our website, understand usage, and improve performance. You can control cookies through browser settings; disabling them may limit site functionality.

7) Eligibility Verification: Accuracy & Limitations

We continuously improve our internal process, but public records and third-party data may be incomplete, outdated, or contain errors. We cannot guarantee accuracy or completeness.

If you believe a decision was based on incorrect information, contact contact@nakedcanvas.com to request a review. For safety and legal reasons, we may limit the details we can share.

8) Security & On-Site Monitoring

We use reasonable safeguards such as restricted access to sensitive data, confidentiality procedures, and secure processing via reputable providers. Where permitted and disclosed, limited video monitoring may be used in designated public areas (for example, entrances). No recording is permitted in private areas such as restrooms or changing areas.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9) Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for operational, legal, accounting, and safety purposes, then delete or de-identify where feasible. Safety records (including bans/removals) may be retained longer to protect the workshop environment.

10) Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of certain personal information (subject to legal and safety exceptions). You may opt out of marketing at any time.

Requests: contact@nakedcanvas.com

11) Adults Only

Workshops are 21+ only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

12) Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of our site or attendance after updates become effective indicates acceptance.

Terms of Service

1) Agreement; Incorporated Policies

These Terms govern your access to our website and attendance at any workshop. The Check-In & Safety Policy is incorporated into these Terms and applies to all attendees.

2) Private Workshop; Reservation + Check-In Required

The workshop is private and reservation-only. Check-in is required. Entry is subject to eligibility confirmation and compliance with these Terms and the Check-In & Safety Policy.

We may refuse entry to protect consent, privacy, safety, and the integrity of the workshop. No re-entry once you exit.

3) Check-In Window and Session Flow

Arrive within the check-in window provided to reservation holders. Late arrival may result in delayed entry or declined entry if it disrupts safety, consent, or the session format. Reservations are limited to maintain a controlled workshop setting.

4) Eligibility (21+ Only)

All attendees must be 21+ unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing for a specific event. Valid government-issued photo ID may be required. The name on your ID must match your reservation name to complete check-in. If eligibility cannot be verified, entry may be declined.

5) Nature of the Workshop

This is a fine-art workshop experience. It is not a sexual service, escort service, or adult entertainment venue. Nudity (where present) is presented strictly within an art-led, controlled studio environment.

Any behavior that sexualizes the workshop environment or undermines consent may result in removal without refund and may result in a ban.

6) Studio Conduct and Consent

Respect is the foundation of the workshop. Keep all interaction art-centered, courteous, and appropriate.

Not permitted (may result in immediate removal without refund and a ban):

  • Harassment, intimidation, stalking, hate speech, or discriminatory conduct

  • Sexual comments, advances, objectifying behavior, or conduct that sexualizes the workshop environment

  • Solicitation or unwanted personal attention toward models, staff, or guests

  • Recording models or guests without permission

  • Disruptive intoxication, reckless behavior, or refusal to comply with rules

  • Any conduct that compromises safety, privacy, or the integrity of the workshop

Consent is active and ongoing. Boundaries set by a model, artist-host, or staff must be respected immediately.

7) Models: Professional Standards

Models participate as professional art subjects. Models are not required to engage in conversation and may keep interaction minimal and professional.

Models retain full autonomy and may pause, restrict, or withdraw consent at any time. Staff may modify workshop flow to protect safety and consent.

8) Painting Rules and Materials

Hands off at all times: no direct physical contact with the model for any reason.

Paint only on the model’s body and only where instructed. Remain within designated guest zones.

Do not paint the model’s wrap, other guests, staff, venue property, or any surfaces.

Use only materials provided (or explicitly approved on-site). No outside paints, tools, substances, adhesives, oils, markers, glitter, or materials.

Return supplies to designated areas after use.

9) Phones, Photography, and Recording

To protect privacy, media is controlled.

Photography is permitted only in designated areas clearly marked by signage and staff direction.

Do not photograph or record models or guests outside designated areas.

Unauthorized or covert recording is prohibited and may result in removal, bans, and legal remedies where appropriate.

The workshop may include photo/video capture for promotional, editorial, and brand use in designated areas.

If you do not wish to appear in brand media, notify us at check-in and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate where feasible.

10) Alcohol, Substances, and Prohibited Items

If alcohol is served, it remains secondary to the workshop environment. Intoxication that impacts conduct or safety will result in removal without refund. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited.

We may prohibit items or conduct that compromise safety (including weapons or hazardous items) and may refuse service or entry to protect the workshop environment.

11) Eligibility Verification & Denial of Entry

Entry is subject to our internal eligibility verification process. We may decline entry if eligibility cannot be confirmed, if you refuse to complete eligibility verification, or if you are subject to an active ban or safety-based denial.

If entry is declined at check-in for eligibility reasons, your reservation will be refunded in accordance with the ticketing platform’s terms (non-refundable platform fees may apply).

12) Ticketing; Removal; Event Changes

Tickets/reservations are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing at purchase.

If you are removed for violating policies, no refund is owed. We may also refuse future entry to protect the workshop environment.

Events may be rescheduled, modified, or cancelled due to operational needs, venue issues, safety concerns, force majeure, or circumstances outside our control. If we cancel an event, refunds (if any) follow the purchase policy and/or the ticketing platform’s terms.

Unauthorized resale, duplication, or transfer of tickets is prohibited unless explicitly permitted in writing.

13) Assumption of Risk; Release of Liability; Limitation of Liability

Participation is voluntary and at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you acknowledge and assume risks including:

Slips, trips, and falls; stepping on or contacting paint, liquids, cords, supplies, tools, or materials.

Close-proximity movement in a shared workshop environment.

Damage to or staining of clothing or personal property.

Exposure to body paint, cosmetic materials, fragrances, and cleaning agents (including allergic reactions, irritation, or sensitivity).

Where present, exposure to candles, lighting, or fixtures that may involve heat or open flame (including minor burns if safety guidance is not followed).

You assume full responsibility for your conduct and participation. You are responsible for your personal belongings, and we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Naked Canvas, its owners, officers, staff, contractors, artist-hosts, models, venue partners, and affiliates from claims arising from your attendance or participation, except where prohibited by law.

Naked Canvas is not liable for acts of third parties. Any liability, if found, is limited to the amount you paid for your ticket/reservation.

14) Responsibility for Damage

You agree to reimburse and hold harmless Naked Canvas for damage you cause to supplies, equipment, venue property, or any person, including damage caused by misuse of materials, failure to follow instructions, or prohibited conduct.

15) Emergency Support

If an incident occurs, you authorize staff to provide basic assistance and to contact emergency services when reasonably necessary. You are responsible for medical costs incurred.

16) Intellectual Property

All branding, workshop formats, concepts, visual assets, and experience elements are protected intellectual property. Unauthorized copying, imitation, or confusingly similar events may result in enforcement action.

Naked Canvas is a registered trademark. All other trademarks, if any, are the property of their respective owners.

17) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Naked Canvas and its related parties from claims and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your actions, violations of these Terms, or prohibited conduct.

18) Disputes

Any dispute arising from attendance or participation will be governed by the laws of the state where the workshop is held and brought in the appropriate courts located in that state, unless a different process is required by applicable law.

19) Updates; Severability

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website or attendance constitutes acceptance of the most current version.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
